The Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Berlin, together with Tanzanian agricultural stakeholders, participated in the BIOFACH 2026 exhibition at Nürnberg Messe in Germany from 10–13 February 2026.

As the world’s leading trade fair for organic food and agriculture, BIOFACH 2026 provided a central platform for stakeholders across the organic value chain from producers to policymakers, making it an ideal stage to highlight Tanzania’s growing organic sector.

In line with its mandate to promote Tanzania’s economic diplomacy and international partnerships, the Embassy played a key role in coordinating and supporting the country’s national presence at this prestigious global event.

Tanzania’s participation was led by the Tanzania Organic Agriculture Movement (TOAM), in close collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA), and the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS). This coordinated effort ensured a strong, unified national brand presence, positioning Tanzania as a reliable and competitive supplier of high-quality organic products.
